After the successful European conquest, we've been brainstorming ideas and quietly putting together a plan of action.
We have turned our eyes east, to the continent of Asia.
Since returning to the UK, apart from a couple of short breaks including Barcelona, Edinburgh, a festival, the odd night out, oh and an assault course called the Nuclear Race, its been pretty much hard work and saving every penny; a little over a year of sitting on buses, long days, packed lunches, double shifts and general reclusive behaviour at weekends, but sacrifices had to be made.
Our first port of call is India, Goa to be precise! We begin with a weeks holiday before we meet with our first host in Northern Goa!
After going to the Indian Embassy fearing rejection, we had our visa applications accepted, and then it was time to get excited!
All friends and family had been visited and the goodbyes had been said, bags were packed ( a damn sight smaller than the bags we took to Europe! )
As well as India we plan to visit Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and any other countries we can while we are in Eastern Asia. Again, we will use an exchange website, so we will be working for food and accommodation, the perfect way to soak up the different cultures, meet amazing people, helping someone out whilst saving money.
This is out first post for a while, but they will become a regular thing again as we work our way around the diverse and fascinating continent of Asia, so keep an eye out for us and our posts and may the adventure BEGIN!
